What clients are saying

★★★★★
Recently we had a property loss claim in our home and amica hired contractors that were not qualified for the job because they were less expensive than the people who were qualified for the job. Almost all of our belongings were thrown away by a company called Roadrunner and we received other people's personal property and not our own. The regional manager the most egregious photos provided by Roadrunner in order to come up with a price list from a company called Enservio. Enservio priced mid-century modern furniture as if it came from a flea market and even attached a DEPRECIATION amount to these items. Property that Was ours was damaged, missing components (which necessitated purchasing the entire product), not cleaned as was tasked to Roadrunner. My mother is 80 years old and has drained her retirement account to replace property, out of pocket, and we still have to replace more. Amica refuses to send money so we can, THREE YEARS LATER, replace what we can. Amica dropped the ball on this claim, in the Most Atrocious Way possible and we're paying the price. 👎👎👎

My son 19 years old called to get a quote for a full coverage insurance on a 2024 Honda Civic. The representative that talked to him told him it would be 22,000 for a 6-month premium. We obviously thought there was a mistake. I his father got on the phone to make sure there was no mistake and to confirm the information that was being relayed is correct. When I asked them to please email me the quote so I can look it over they told me (this sounds like insurance fraud) I told them you are the insurance company why would you tell me such a thing I do believe 22,000 a month for a $25,000 vehicle is not realistic so why the discrimination against a 19-year-old young adult. I asked for their license number their insurance license number she refused to tell me I was hung up on and when I called back I was disrespected and told that they did not want to carry the insurance on my son. I'm fine with an insurance company telling me they cannot insure my son and the only thing he had against him was an accident that was his fault but it's 16 years old almost 3 years ago and that's the only thing on his record. They asked for his credit check they asked his age they asked his race they asked everything from as far as I know they are not allowed to ask. This was straight discrimination in my belief and when I called and asked them for a printout and an email sent to me they told me no and hung up on me. I always thought amika was a stand-up company I put them in line with USAA and the other top insurance companies however they're beneath the spit underneath my feet so I hope people learn from the situation and do not get treated the way we were. I will be filing with the local authorities and the Texas board of insurance this is just a beware notice I wanted to put on there website so no one else falls into their trap. 22,000 a month for a car worth $25,000 that does not make sense in any language or any country or any reality but a 19-year-old may have fell for that like they wanted him to disgusting disgraceful unethical in every way stay away from this company. If you look at the responses from the management to the People's reviews they're all generic they don't care they'll never care they make a lot of money and you're the reason they make a lot of money our lives mean nothing to them only when it affects them they are horrible people and everybody knows it. You know it's the CEO's fault they love taking advantage of everybody. Update the response they gave was complete BS never once did they want to resolve the problem and it's been over 4 months. My son does have insurance and pays 3600 a year now, what a difference and it's not Geico or progressive. It's a real insurance company that is extremely popular with a great reputation.

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service provided by Amica Insurance.Over the past several weeks, I have made numerous attempts to contact the company regarding my claim. Despite leaving multiple voicemails for the assigned adjuster, I have not received a single response. This lack of communication is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Furthermore, I have escalated my concerns by leaving messages for the manager, hoping that this would prompt some action. Unfortunately, this too has been met with complete silence. The absence of any returned phone calls from both the adjuster and the manager is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company's commitment to customer service. This experience has been highly disappointing and has caused significant inconvenience. I urge Amica Insurance to address these communication issues immediately and take steps to ensure that such unprofessional behavior does not continue.
